Method

  1. Pat salmon portions dry and season both sides with salt, cumin, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat pan over medium-high heat and add a small amount of water to prevent sticking or use any residual fat from the salmon skin.
  3. Sear salmon skin-side up for 4 minutes, flip and cook another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Remove salmon and in the same pan, add minced garlic and sliced green onions, cook 1 minute.
  5. Add spinach and grape tomatoes, toss until spinach wilts, about 2 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and plate spinach mixture alongside salmon.
